We did some moving and moved a closet into the hallway.
To use for our clothes and shoes.
But we were short on hangers.
Which wasn't a problem while it was summer We had a few hangers and that was enough But as autumn arrived, the cold and rainy weather
Required more clothes.
Jackets, blouses, raincoats and especially work clothes for our gardener.
Since I had no more space in the hallway to put clothes hangers, I did this in the summer kitchen, which is actually a room that serves us for everything.I found some dowels and screws.
I was planning to nail a few spare laminate planks to the wall to serve as a base. So that the laundry wouldn't remove the paint from the wall.
And I found two clothes hangers, they are different but they will do the job.
I drilled the laminate boards and used those holes to mark where the holes would go on the wall
When I drilled a hole in the wall and added a dowel, I screwed the board to the wall
And so I added the boards one by one
It went quickly, I had room for four laminate boards so I drilled four holes for the screws.Once I had all four boards hooked up, I then screwed in the clothes hangers.
The clothes hangers are double so I think they will be enough.
I didn't remove the edge of the laminate boards, I'm thinking of adding some molding
Or maybe the plan will change if I buy new clothes hangers
This was a quick and effective solution, I used what I had. Better than just screwing in screws somewhere.
Since I am naturally curious and love to learn, I have acquired a lot of tools that I can use in situations like this.
I hope you liked this quick fix of mine.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
