Running a household can be very demanding sometimes
I am an electrician by profession, but I always like to learn something new
This time I had a small project to do: ,,To lay tiles in our kitchen,,
Since we have two kitchens, one in the house and one separate summer kitchen
The warm weather gave me the perfect space to arrange the kitchen.
We had some kind of vinyl floor in that kitchen.
But neither me nor my wife liked it.
Previously I had glued tiles with pegs and crosses on a leveling layer.
This time I wanted to avoid the leveling layer, which is otherwise expensive to make and also because of the height, so as not to lose additional height on the kitchen itself, which is a bit low
I opted for a new system of laying tiles with levelers, pegs and peg pliers
And I can tell you that I am positively surprised how easy it was
There are several instructions on YouTube on how to work with this system
But I will describe it in detail here too, maybe it will help someone
For me, the whole project took three weeks, all I had left was to glue the ceiling and fill the joints
I didn't have time to fully dedicate myself to it. Lots of business and personal obligations.
I believe that an experienced craftsman would glue it in a day and fill the joints the next day
But for me, this was a pleasure to work with, I learned something new and useful
And in our country, craftsmen are extremely expensive, so they would cost me three to four times the price of the materials I paid
So any quality service in the household is welcome.

instructions:
Dust the surface well with a broom, and then with a vacuum cleaner.
I applied a primer for the putty, with a roller on concrete.
To further clean and prepare.
Since I am not doing a leveling layer.
Of course, mix the glue well.
Apply it with a notched trowel to the concrete and to the tile itself.
When you place the tile, use a rubber hammer to tap it to level the tile so that it is horizontal.
Add levelers to each side of the tile.
Continue like this until you have added six to seven tiles.
Now you can place the pegs in the levelers And with pliers, tighten the pegs as much as necessary.
Make sure not to overtighten, be sensitive so as not to create a large joint or sink a tile.
And so cube by cube six or seven tiles and just repeat the procedure.
Since I did not use a leveling layer on some parts of the concrete there will be you may need to add more glue.
Add it so that you form four to five scone and then add a spreadable tile with glue on top of them .
You will have to cut the tile in the corners It is important to measure and mark well.
I used a felt-tip pen.
Since I don't have a tile cutting machine.
I used a grinder and a diamond-tipped stone.
When it's new it cuts the tiles nicely, when it's worn out it wants to fray the edges. That happened to me so I turned those edges towards the wall.
Because the baseboard will definitely cover it,the tile from above.
If you are an amateur like me, be patient, work slowly but don't drag it out for three weeks like me :)
Happy work
