Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog. It is another wonderful opportunity to listen to the word of God through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
Promoting peace is truly a reflection of God’s heart. In the Bible, after every war in Israel, God asked for a burnt offering as a symbol of peace following the turmoil (Leviticus 7:11-15).
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9). This reminds us that God values peace so highly that He blesses those who actively promote it wherever they are.
It’s interesting how we often call ourselves Christ-like, yet shy away from emulating His peaceful nature. I recall how we used to reflect on the teaching where Jesus told His disciples: “If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to them the other also” (Matthew 5:39).
This is not foolishness—it’s a call for us, as followers of Christ, to live a life of peace like He did on earth. By doing so, we receive the blessings of His teachings. On the other hand, if we fail to be peaceful and get involved in fights, riots, or violence, someone always ends up hurt or loses something. The lesson is clear: peace protects and blesses us.
Let’s be ambassadors of peace wherever we go. For every commandment God gives, the blessings ultimately belong to us when we follow them faithfully (Romans 12:18).
