Hello Steemians!
This is the second part of our small introduction for Water-art project. I am really happy invited me to share my experience and knowledge through blogs and maybe vlogs.
I started with watercolors partly thanks to Steemit. I always liked watercolor paintings and it seemed to me really hard to paint with them, because everytime I remembered how I hated to use them at school. You know, that paper swelling, pilling, unwanted color mixing and so on. I used acrylic paint more, but half a year ago I wanted to try something different. I realised I need quality tools to have better results, so I started to try different types of paper and paints until I felt it is good enough.
I paint mostly flowers, animals and portraits, sometimes a landsape. I think when you are good at drawing or painting with acrylic or oils, you are able to learn watercolors quite fast, because there are some regularities for all kinds of visual arts. However, if you are a beginner in art, you can also learn to handle watercolors after a short time. You just need to choose the right technique of painting and the right subjects.
I started with simple animal painting according to a painted picture. Then I tried also some flowers, portraits.. Here are some examples of my work.

Water art project brings you a big opportunity to learn the technique with skilled artists step by step and for free (maybe just for your upvote ;) ). So, when I sumarize it, you can look forward to:
- step by step tutorials of flower painting
- how to paint portraits
- simple painting of simple objects
- combine pen drawing with watercolors
- using acrylic paint as watercolors
