We visited 9 cities in Italy in 15 days, therefore, the time in each city was limited. We had two days to see Rome. Those who have seen Rome know that two days is considered as fast as a blink. So, we had to use our time to best possible. For two days, we just walked through the alleys and streets in Rome. Couple interesting facts caught my eyes I would like to share with you :
1- The city of Street Art
There are tons of street arts. From the city center to the suburbs, Rome is becoming a public museum of street artists.
2- St. Peter's Dome in a Keyhole?
At the top of the Aventine Hill, next to the Orange Garden, you'll see Saint Peter’s Dome If you look through the keyhole of the gate of the Villa of the Grand Priory of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
3- Weird perspective!
If you walk toward Saint Peter’s Dome from Villa Pamphili, via Niccolò Piccolomini, the closer you get to the Dome the farther it looks to you; and vice versa: when you walk away, it actually seems closer to your eyes. Why do you think the reason is?
