¡Es momento de celebrar el arte, es momento de celebrar el aniversario de Hive Arte! Y aunque apenas estoy comenzando a publicar contenido en esta comunidad, me pareció genial unirme a la iniciativa por su primer aniversario, pues un poco de celebración y creatividad no le vienen mal a nadie.

¡Comencemos con el festejo!

It's time to celebrate art, it's time to celebrate Hive Arte's anniversary! And although I'm just starting to publish content in this community, I thought it was great to join the initiative for its first anniversary, because a little celebration and creativity never hurt anyone.

Let's start with the celebration!

No he realizado demasiadas publicaciones en Hive Arte hasta el momento y, de hecho, esta sería mi segunda publicación en esta comunidad, así que digamos que no puedo responder a esta pregunta con un sentido de propiedad tan grande como algún otro usuario que ya lleva mucho tiempo publicando desde aquí. Sin embargo, a pesar de no ser demasiado activa en Hive Arte, he observado a esta comunidad desde mi pequeño rincón desde hace mucho tiempo y siempre me ha parecido un espacio ideal para aquellos que amamos el arte y que amamos crear pero que lo hacemos por simple pasión al dejarnos llevar por nuestras ideas y nuestra creatividad sin aplicar conceptos o técnicas muy profesionales.

Para mí Hive Arte es un espacio especial, ese pequeño lugar que nos brinda total seguridad para sentirnos libres y transmitir, por medio del arte, lo que pensamos y sentimos sin llegar a avergonzarnos porque nuestra técnica para colorear no es la más indicada, porque nuestros trazos no son los más perfectos o porque simplemente no somos los mejores dibujantes. Hive Arte simplemente nos invita a liberar nuestra creatividad aquí de la manera en que nos sintamos más cómodos, despojándonos de ese "me avergüenza que mi obra no es la más perfecta" porque el aprendizaje que nos deja esta pequeña casa es que, al final de cuentas, nosotros mismos somos quienes le damos un sentido y conceptualizamos todo aquello que plasmamos en el papel.

I haven't made too many posts on Hive Arte so far and, in fact, this would be my second post on this community, so let's just say I can't answer this question with as great a sense of ownership as some other user who has been posting from here for a long time now. However, despite not being too active in Hive Arte, I have been observing this community from my little corner for a long time and it has always seemed to me an ideal space for those of us who love art and who love to create but who do it out of simple passion by letting ourselves be carried away by our ideas and our creativity without applying very professional concepts or techniques.

For me Hive Arte is a special space, that small place that gives us total security to feel free and transmit, through art, what we think and feel without being ashamed because our coloring technique is not the most suitable, because our strokes are not the most perfect or because we are simply not the best drawers. Hive Arte simply invites us to liberate our creativity here in the way we feel most comfortable, stripping us of that "I'm ashamed that my work is not the most perfect" because the learning that this small house leaves us is that, at the end of the day, we ourselves are the ones who give meaning and conceptualize everything we put on paper.

Para mí el arte es el medio de expresión más genuino y sensible que existe. Quizás suena cliché, pero con el arte podemos incluso expresar ideas, sentimientos, opiniones que con las palabras -en ocasiones- se nos hace un tanto complicado, pero también el arte representa una perspectiva distinta desde donde podemos interrogarnos e incluso cambiar la realidad de lo que nos rodea.

For me art is the most genuine and sensitive means of expression that exists. Maybe it sounds cliché, but with art we can even express ideas, feelings, opinions that with words -sometimes- is a bit complicated, but art also represents a different perspective from where we can question ourselves and even change the reality of what surrounds us.

En mi pequeña obra dedicada a Hive Arte quise incluir cosas en las que soy buena y cosas en las que no soy tan buena para dar lugar a una combinación interesante en un mismo papel. Por ejemplo, no soy buena dibujante y mucho menos usando colores para crear sombras que ayuden a dar perspectiva al dibujo, así que la página derecha tiene un poco de eso, pero también se complementa con algo en lo que sí soy medianamente buena: el lettering, el arte de dibujar letras.

Sí se fijan, la frase que aquí plasmo se relaciona con mi respuesta a la primera pregunta. Para mí Hive Arte nos hace una invitación directa a liberar nuestra creatividad aquí, en su feed, como mejor lo podamos hacer y de la manera que nos haga sentir más cómodos y satisfechos...lo que precisamente yo hice al realizar Lettering y pintar con mis marcadores favoritos color pastel sin decepcionarme porque mis trazos iniciales fuesen un desastre y tuviese que haber dibujado varias veces algunos de estos elementos.

In my little piece dedicated to Hive Arte I wanted to include things I'm good at and things I'm not so good at to make for an interesting combination on the same piece of paper. For example, I'm not a good drawer and much less using colors to create shadows that help to give perspective to the drawing, so the right page has a bit of that, but it is also complemented with something I am moderately good at: lettering, the art of drawing letters.

If you notice, the phrase that I am putting here is related to my answer to the first question. For me Hive Arte makes us a direct invitation to unleash our creativity here, in your feed, as we can do it best and in the way that makes us feel more comfortable and satisfied... which is precisely what I did when I did Lettering and painted with my favorite pastel markers without being disappointed because my initial strokes were a mess and I had to draw some of these elements several times.

Aprovechando a que se nos invita a liberar nuestra creatividad aquí, la página derecha la reservé para realizar un collage, una de mis técnicas favoritas y la que más me encanta realizar en mi Art Journal. Llevo realizando collages desde que estoy en secundaria y, personalmente, es una de las técnicas artísticas que más me gusta pues encuentro cierta libertad en el hecho de rasgar o recortar trocitos de papel y pegarlos de la manera en que mejor crea conveniente para crear una linda composición. Lo que más me gusta del collage es que no existe ningún tipo de regla para crearlo, ahí nada está establecido, sólo depende de ti y de cómo pretendas agrupar los elementos.

Estuve buscando en mis revistas elementos relacionados con el arte, como esculturas o pinturas, para relacionar un poco más los elementos del collage con la temática de Arte. También encontré algunos patrones que me gustaron por resultar tan llamativos, como el estampado de hojas y el abstracto de figuras. Quizás la composición carezca de sentido, pero cada elemento se relaciona con el arte, así que podemos decir que esta pequeña página es como una especie de museo de arte a muy pequeña escala.

Taking advantage of the fact that we are invited to free our creativity here, I reserved the right page to make a collage, one of my favorite techniques and the one I love the most in my Art Journal. I have been making collages since I was in high school and, personally, it is one of the artistic techniques that I like the most because I find a certain freedom in the fact of tearing or cutting pieces of paper and gluing them in the way I think best to create a nice composition. What I like most about collage is that there are no rules to create it, nothing is established, it just depends on you and how you intend to group the elements.

I was looking in my magazines for elements related to art, such as sculptures or paintings, to relate a little more the elements of the collage with the theme of Art. I also found some patterns that I liked because they were so striking, such as the leaf print and the abstract figure print. Maybe the composition makes no sense, but each element is related to the art, so we can say that this little page is like a kind of art museum on a very small scale.

Y finalmente, así es como concluye el proceso de llenar de colores las páginas de mi Diario de Arte, un espacio en el que me siento libre para crear a mi manera y dejar fluir mis ideas mediante trazos temerosos, colores pasteles y trocitos de papel.

And finally, this is how the process of filling the pages of my Art Journal with colors concludes, a space where I feel free to create in my own way and let my ideas flow through fearful strokes, pastel colors and small pieces of paper.
