I discovered that reddcoin has been in existence for three years now, but has probably been listed on coinmarketcap very recently or we are only getting to know about it, because it is now among the top 100 cryptocurrencies.

I have already fallen in love with steemit and it's ecosystem. That is not going to change anytime soon. I have my views about reddcoin, though. My personal view about reddcoin, for now, is that it could be to steemit just as ethereum is to bitcoin. Additionally, I have a feeling that steemit now has a competitor. This is something that the steemit community should put into perspective and make plans in order to stay ahead of the market.
