Sometimes I do illustrations of books. This is a very interesting and exciting experience. I have several design options for different books in different techniques. The photo I'm showing today is my last work.
Last year, we all saw the premiere of the film "Murder on the Orient Express" from Kenneth Branagh. I really liked the film, and he inspired me to the idea of art-photography for another literary work by Agatha Christie - "And then there were none" (in the Russian version - "Ten little Indians", "Ten black people").
I think you all remember the plot of the book. Briefly - this is a detective novel in which the judge kills criminals in the ways described in the children's comic poem of ten little Indians.
In my picture, I showed all the methods of murder that were enumerated in the book. For example, one offender was stung by a bee, and the was killed by a prick with poison.
The last criminal was a girl, she saw all nine murders and went crazy about it. As a result, she decided to hang herself and this is the moment I showed in the photo.
I molded the hero myself from black plasticine. For me it was not difficult, because I love sculpture, my diploma project at the Institute was in sculpture.
Specifically for this work I learned to tie a special knot ;)
The picturesque part of the work I did gouache.
Backstage shooting. I came up with a special lighting - the base of the old lamp, which crashed.
This is a very emotional and very thrilling plot. I hope that my work will interest you, I'm waiting for questions and comments...
