Miss Universe 2017 title was won by Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, a young woman of 22 years in South Africa, which teaches self-defense for women.
It competed against Laura Gonzales (Miss Colombia, who won second place) and Davina Bennett (Miss Jamaica, ranked third). It is the second time in the competition's history when the title of most beautiful woman going to South Africa.
