Of course I want your opinions criticisms and whatever solutions you have come up with.
Here is the thing. I hate being that guy who comes up with ways to enslave. It really just bothers me to no end that many people do not understand that without the consent of a person that is what rulemaking is. So I have decided to take a whack at solving the problem before someone comes up with a really bad idea that looks good, but is really more shackles and chains.

I am basing my ideas on the idea that everyone is sovereign and as such responsible for the consequences of their own actions. I really like the idea of hoisting thieves on their own petard, but don't like the idea of catching the unknowing in the same net as the intentional thief. Providing a way to make it extremely hard for someone to gain through theft just sounds like an ounce of prevention, which is better than a pound of cure. First however people must be educated.
So my ideas are three and I don't know how viable they are, so I need your help! We are growing and the problem will just get worse unless the net is big enough to be extremely hard to miss!
Here is my first idea
The first idea is to create a net. A huge net that is informative in nature.
A post needs to be written that teaches what plagiarism is by a better author than me.
In the post needs to be why it is OK for everyone who has written teaching post on plagiarism to post their explanatory link in comments. It also needs to be understood that such is not spam under this specific condition.
That same post has to commit another sin. It needs to be understood that on that post it is OK to ask for upvote, comment and resteem.
I sure don't want to see a bunch of links showing up in comments on my regular post, but in my case I wouldn't mind that as much as the plagiarism. Especially if I knew that there was someone out there who would be a great steemian if they only knew.
- Discord, Booster and Cheetah all could be employed in making this work.
Discord could create a teaching program with the minnows showing everyone how to credit photos and other peoples work. Obviously post are not working all by themselves.
Cheetah, which by the way is my kind of bot, because they show the carrot as much as the stick and really it is nice to see encouragement being used rather than the stick.
Cheetah could be used to provide a link to the plagiarist to not only fix there post, but to Discord to be educated on how not to plagiarize.
Than Discord could hand off the graduates name to Booster who could be used to reward those who have corrected the error of their ways "by" from time to time providing more carrot.
The whole idea requires that the net be huge and cover all three avenues within steemit. That is post, comments, and resteem.
This would allow steamcleaners to focus on the intentional thieves, which by the way is another system that is doing a phenomenal job.
The other two ideas I will present if I get a good response. No use wasting my time if no one responds.
Notice that I am an idea kind of guy, but not so good at execution so if someone can show me a better way to put forth the idea and that better way is better for steemit "have at it".
This is just a bare bones outline. A lot more development and coordination is needed.
