In a world where ai has rapidly taken over, how do you really know something is done with genuine effort or don't in seconds and does it really matter in the end. Educators , editors and basically anyone in the creative field would agree on one thing is that we all want something real, we value what’s real. We want work that reflects thought, effort, and individuality. Needless to say AI can't also be fun , coming from a person who may or may have not doom scrolled fruit AI videos. So what crosses the fine lines of reality, fun and actual hard work.
It’s entertaining, creative in its own way, and sometimes even inspiring. But that raises an important question:
Where do we draw the line between reality, fun, and actual hard work?
In my opinion and yes I could be completely utterly wrong and you can disagree with me this in comments if you feel a strong point of view, no harm no foul. AI has it's perks and it's downfall, like everything else.
For instance let's take a knife you could use it to cut fruit to eat, butter bread or hurt someone which is up to each person in the way they use it. Do we blame the knife or the person? Do we blame the creator of the knife? It’s not the technology, it’s the person behind the screen who basically decides the outcome. It's the person behind the screen who either uses it for good or bad.
With that said I would add we should be responsible in a way that we should use our own creativity and use AI as a tool not the easy way out. Use it to help with research, grammar and not to write out an entire article.
