Eclipse super blue blood moon or total lunar eclipse is a rare phenomenon, because this eclipse occurs when the moon is in the configuration of supermoon and bluemoon that is in the distance closest to the earth.
So today, January 31, 2018, the size of the moon is 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than usual. Previously this phenomenon occurred about 150 years ago.
In Aceh, the eclipse lasts about four hours, from 6.48 PM until a total eclipse occurs from 19.50 to 22.09 PM. I took these photos using the Canon EOS 70D with Vixen Super Teleskop Refraktor 900mm.
Supermoon tonight is also called the blue moon, because it is the second full moon in January, Usually every month there is only one full moon. If there is a total lunar eclipse, the moon will be reddish or orange, therefore called Blood Moon.
