Here is my dispersion effect done with Adobe Photoshop CC.

How To Create This Dispersion Effect.
First I insert my model picture on Photoshop CC, duplicate photo layer then select around the model. Right Click - fill, content aware, and hit ok. CTRL+D to deselect then make the top layer visible again. Select the quick selection tool (W), then select the entire model, when done, head up and click on select and mask. select refine edge, start off by only selecting the models hair, output to layer mask, then hit ok. Duplicate the first layer then right click on mask - apply layer mask then hide the middle layer, rename the layer to 'Dispersion Effect' after that hit ok. Hold ALT while click the mask (fill mask with black). Select the man layer and select mask at the bottom, make sure your foreground color bus set to black. Open brush panel and select a dispersion brush, then start adding the effect on the model, rotate your brush frequency, increase/ decrease brush. Select dispersion mask, then start adding the second step to the dispersion layer, rotate brush frequently. Then start adding layer particle. And that's it.
My aim in 2021 is to improve on my photography skills as well as photo manipulation.
