Conflict
In the field of conflict,
Held behind closed doors,
Meetings upon meetings,
But in the end is a pistol,
Which is never a peace tool.
Resolution, transformation, reformation,
Words that are now colloquial,
With conflict,
But yet the reality of it,
Lies not in practice.
Litigation, arbitration, mediation,
Efforts woven into styles,
At nonviolent resolution,
Of violent confrontation,
Tried time and time again,
But as many times failed.
They say conflict,
Is as old as man himself,
Within and without a man,
Between man and himself
Conflicts may be inevitable,
but not unbeatable.
