Self Introduction: Starting my Journey at Steemit

Hello fellow steemians, my name is Maria Veronica Alipda but my friends call me Vic. I am happily married and have an only son. I'm presently from San Fernando La Union. It's a pleasure to join the steemit community. I'm really excited to join because it took me almost a month for my account to be approved.My friend Hive account@shirleynpenalosa and my hubby Hive account@fherdz encouraged me to join this platform so I decided to give it a try. I first signed up last December 25 and waited for my account to be approved. Weeks past and I didn't receive any email. So I tried to sign up again last January 5, and so it was my second attempt. This time, I thought to myself, if I won't still be approved after a week, this will be the last time I'm signing up.After a week, still no email came. I was on the verge of giving up, and I even thought to myself that I'm letting go. But at the back of my mind, I was really hoping to be approved. This morning, as I opened my email, the first thing I saw was an email from Steemit And I finally got a surprise!! My account has been approved!!! Thank God!! As the saying goes, "Patience is a virtue". My patience finally paid off and I am so happy and delighted to share my journey with you

I enjoyed working here because there are lots of good books to choose from and definitely,it's free to read!!

And this is my family. We are not perfect, but definitely blessed. Presently, I am a working mom, juggling with work and being a mother and wife. It's not always that easy to balance family and work, but it's always an inspiration for me to get up early and prepare for my family's needs.

This is my sister Hive account@ajasmin14 who also joined the community a few days ago. And I am also planning to invite my eldest sister and my mom to join this amazing community.
