CONSUMED IN EVERY PART BY YOUR LOVE FOR GOD.
Have you ever thought that God gives grace to some persons above others? I mean, you take a look at them, and everything about them simply displays the grace of God to a different dimension. You are in the same local assembly with these persons, you hear the same words with them, you pray together with them; yet, they move in leaps and bounds in the things of the spirit, but you seem to be crawling in your spiritual walk. Why?
I would like to read something to us, Exodus 33:11 says;
And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
Did you notice the last few words, "and he (Moses) turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle"
This young man later became the leader of God's children. The very same unction of the Spirit that rested on Moses settled on this young man. Why? Because Joshua was spiritually minded. He treasured God above all else. Moses departed from the tabernacle, but Joshua was attracted to God, he drew near to God, found God's glory and the young man stayed there. Joshua loves God. Joshua delighted himself in the Lord.
God isn't moved by religion, by that outward show, but rather, He desires a relationship; one born of love. It is this love for God that is missing from many hearts today. People have chosen to love the things God does, and have forgotten to love Him for who He is.
