Multiple cryptocurrency experts predict $50,000 Bitcoin and $1,000 billion crypto market capitalization at the end of 2018
According to several crypto experts the volatile ups and downs of the last few weeks are only temporary. The bull market in cryptocurrency is far from over. Some experts from the sector predict that Bitcoin will be above $ 50,000 per BTC by the end of 2018 and the entire cryptocurrency market cap above $ 1,000 billion!
- Jamie Burke, CEO of Outlier Venturs - the first blockchain incubator in Europe - strongly believes that the crypto market will resume its upward trend after February. The cryptocurrency market cap will rise above $ 1 trillion before the real cryptowinter will begin.
"We believe after February the market will probably go on a bull run comparatively if not better than last year, potentially reaching the trillion dollar mark before a clean crypto winter sets in where the market is going to be more focused on proper market fundamentals."
- Thomas Glucksmann, Gatecoin, says that regulation, the arrival of institutional investors and the technological advantages of the Lightning Network will be the driving force for a rising crypto market.
“There is no reason why we couldn’t see bitcoin pushing $50,000 by December.”
- CEO of Hercules Tech, Mick Sherman, sees potential in the so-called utility tokens, user platforms such as IOTA, NEO and Ethereum.
“Utility tokens and assets with a working platform and a clear-cut reason for requiring both a blockchain and their own token, are more likely to appreciate in value this year. Some of these cryptoassets will not be used for years, meaning they have no utility value.”
