In the University of Texas in Dallas have developed fabric on the basis of nanotubes, capable to generate energy from movements of a thorax of the person at breath. It consists of the twisted carbon fibers and has received the name "twystron". The physical mechanism of her work is surprisingly simple.
At the moment the technology of creation of tvistronny fabric is rather difficult and expensive. However her potential to collect free energy from any movements can make a revolution, for example, in the sphere of the Internet of things. Pieces of tvistronny fabric can collect energy of ocean waves for food of buoys of communication, and the clothes with inserts of nanofibre can feed sensors or small gadgets.
