12 years ago, I tried changing the mood of a cloudy day by telling my daughter and a friend:

"Alright, let's take a baking tray and a hula hoop, I've got an idea!"
And of course, an idea including those ingredigents can't fail to brighten up a boring sunday. I grabbed my good old Canon AE1, FD 2,8/28mm and off we went, up a hill and towards the sun, on a mission to save our hearts from sinking into a ditch this season changing day.

A few days ago I was cleaning up my database and stumbled across those pictures. The same day that I discovered this competition …

I started taking pictures of them. Holding, throwing or playing around with a hula and a tray and they truely satisfied my eyes.
Yes, I opened the camera and I did it on purpose. That was what this idea was all about. I wanted to show my daughter what the light does to the negatives. And we got pretty lucky, I'd say.
