Now that I think about it, it seems insignificant, but at the time it bothered me a lot, and not just for a moment—it bothered me for hours. The worst part is that now that I think about it, my annoyance affected people who had nothing to do with the issue or who were unaware of the situation at the time and didn't understand what was going on. It all started when I was assigned a fairly long computer project, and the worst part was that I only had four hours to turn it in because they had forgotten to tell me about it in the days leading up to it and only told me when there were only a few hours left to turn it in, so I had to start working on it as quickly as possible so as not to look bad when it was due.
The job was quite long, but for some reason, when you know how to do your job, it's easy to get things done, so in less than an hour I was done. But when I was about to send it, the power went out and, for obvious reasons, the work was stuck on the computer. It was at that moment, while I was waiting for the power to come back on, that my bosses started calling me to hurry up because they were waiting for my work. Feeling the pressure, I grabbed my CPU and went to a friend's house nearby so I could send the work and not look bad. Now that I think about it, it seems funny, but at the time it was very stressful.
