Graduates are getting much every year in the labour market and still there is no certainty that job is sure for everyone. I checked when i graduated two years ago from the university and we were more than 4000 graduating in our current level and now we have over 30 universities in the country when there is polytechnic there. Now imagine having that number for more than 30 schools, there is now how one can be certain of work out there and this is why most people go into handiwork and start learning things that will fetch them money without waiting for government job.
Now the journey is also different because getting an handiwork will also involve money to learn so that is why capital is needed. For everyone having an handiwork will need some tools, also after learning will need various things to push the brand to people which is called visuality and now most of them learn handiwork but still decided to learn more skills which are digital this period and the market world is filled up but even at that people are getting wise up.
I always imagine how those people then use to walk around searching for job and wont even see a vacancy not to talk of people that will see but will take various interviews and still won’t get a job. I sat down one day and i was like which one is better now between the physical job and remote job because both of them has the advantage and disadvantage but surely one still has upper chance provided that there are equipment that will hasten the process.
PHYSICAL JOB
Physical job are those ones that will require you to be in the office everyday to work and you will have some specific time and duration to work.
Benefit of physical work
One of the benefit of the physical work is that you can stay in the office and you have conveniency in terms of power supply which is provided by the company.
Disadvantage
Imagine the distance of work place to your house is very far, you will have to wake up early, meet up with early bus to work and go past traffic everyday, the stress can be draining but if it is worth the pay you are good to go.
REMOTE JOB
This is working from home and also getting paid at your convenience. Many people do say they prefer remote work to physical but do not know the real work behind it.
For remote work you enjoy benefit of working from home and getting to work when you want to but not waking up like physical so early just to get to the work place. As far as the remote work is very good if the pay is very little there will be a lot of issues.
Getting paid for a job of 80,000 naira and you will need to do some big data bundle that will last you for a month. That price might not pay since you will need other things to sort to meet up because as a remote worker you need to have the following and without that you might not stay long in working for any company.
- Good electricity:- this is the major push for a remote worker because you will need constant electricity to power your appliances like your laptop.
- Good Network:- You need a fast connection to meet up daily task and also anytime a meeting is set up which one must be there, a bad network can detriment you
- A Conducive Environment:- As a remote worker you need a quiet environment that do not have noise which enables you to think and carry out your work effectively. Without this you can’t go far as a remote worker..
