The Savoy is grand in décor and is the perfect place to enjoy a few hours of afternoon tea. It’s a luxury hotel in the heart of Strand and is perhaps one of the grandest establishments you can attend around the heart of London in Westminster. It was opened many years ago and was the first luxury hotel in the country, clearly it’s success was made certain as it still holds as London’s most famous hotel. Of course it’s best to dress for the occasion and the staff here are most helpful in every respect. They truly go out of their way to make your time there most enjoyable without any hassle.
On this occaision we ordered a set of savoury and sweet servings. I have a bit of a preference for sweet things so I insisted on trying some of the more colourful helpings of the menu. Everything is grand and exquisite ere and even the teapot shines with brilliance. The traditional tea in England is very different to Chinese tea back home and I always love mixing in my own blend of milk. Everything was brewed to perfection and our server did a great job in catering to the afternoons requirements.
