Hi everyone! 💛🧡
The Wednesday Walk is all about taking up the challenge.. stepping out for a nice little stroll and capturing whatever beautiful things you see along the way.
And this time, our adventure continues right here at Hacienda Mandarieta!

After a yummy lunch, we rested for about an hour to recharge, then we headed out again to keep exploring..
And trust me, there’s still so much to see! 😍

When you look around, you’d never guess there are houses here or that people actually live in this place.

It feels so far from the town center, like we’re deep up in the mountains!
But yes, there are quite a few homes scattered all around. And can you believe how lovely their gardens are?
Full of pretty flowers that make everything look so bright and cheerful!

You know what I noticed?
All the plants here look so much fresher and healthier than those in the city.
Even though water isn’t always easy to get, they still grow so beautifully.
Nature really knows how to thrive, doesn’t it?
The hot weather just kept going on that afternoon, and it started to get really tiring.

Especially when we were almost out of drinking water.
But thank goodness! My husband spotted a hose that looked a bit broken, but there was clean water still flowing through it!
That little source saved us. We were so happy and relieved! 😌
Also, as we walked, we saw wild flowers with strange fruits on them.

They were bumpy and prickly, and I have to say, this was my first time seeing anything like that!
I just love discovering new plants and capturing these special finds.
And, the view here? It's just mesmerizing. 😍
So refreshing to the eyes!

We met people living here too, most of them are farmers who use empty lands to grow crops.
But right now, because there hasn’t been rain for so long, they don’t have enough water.
So they choose not to plant anything, since everything would just die without it.

We ended our walk going back to where we started, and what a lovely journey it was!
Hacienda Mandarieta is such a special place, and I really want to come back again soon to enjoy this beautiful scenery all over again. 🩵💙
Until my next wednesday walk...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
