I’ve almost exclusively been using Partiko for a few weeks now. And there’s a few reasons for this:
- my new job and living arrangements pretty well prevents me from spending much time behind my laptop where I’d normally draft posts using the Steemit front end.
- I now browse Steemit and write a lot from my phone. So using an app kind of makes sense for simplicity reasons.
I like Partiko. It’s a nicely made and easy to use app.
- It’s fast
- very clean and intuitive
- I love the point earning aspect which gives you points to either upvote your posts or hold to increase your chance of getting a free upvote from Partiko.
- your profile page displays an awesome amount of information. And you can claim your rewards directly from this page without needing to visit your wallet.
But it does have a few cons as well.
- as far as I can tell, you can only add one image per post. I like to add lots of images normally. So being restricted to one makes me sad.
- I keep forgetting to add tags for some stupid reason. And Partiko automatically adds their tag. So it would be nice if the app gave an alert that you haven’t added any of your own tags.
- the little “posted using Partiko” messages after every comment and post is a little annoying. Even though I fully understand the logic behind this.
Overall it’s a great app. And I do like using it. But please let me post more than one image without having to edit my post via the Steemit front end afterwards!
