How come when Westerners call foreigners 'cruel' and 'sick' for eating cats and dogs, they're not accused of demonstrating a moral superiority complex?
But when Westerners call out their fellow countrymen for eating cows and pigs, they ARE accused of demonstrating a moral superiority complex?
Why is it cruel to kill dogs for food but perfectly okay to eat cows and pigs? Do dogs feel more pain than cows? Are they more intelligent? Does any of that really matter?
Freedom is the birthright of ALL (cows, pigs, and chickens included).
Once you see what goes on inside a slaughterhouse, the horrors of the world -- war, genocide, slavery etc. -- all seem to suddenly make sense.
For as long we are cruel to animals, we will be cruel to each other. This is an invisible, inescapable law to which we are all bound.
