The book is leveled for third grade readers and up.I am using the #steemiteducation tag because the book is about using math and earning money. Chapter 18 Mom is it going to rain?
“Mom is it going to rain?” I shouted as I busted into the back door. I threw my backpack in the corner. Charlie ran up under my feet.
“Charlotte, why are you yelling?” Mom asked.
“A boy at school said it was supposed to rain this Saturday!” Mom made a face, then pulled out her phone, made a few swipes and began to read, “There is a 60% chance of rain on Saturday.” Mom made a face, “It may rain Charlotte, but it is April and there is more rain during this time of the year. Remember the phrase April Showers Bring May Flowers.”
“Then what am I going to do if it rains?”
“Well let’s just wait and see until Saturday before we begin panicking. It’s Wednesday, so there is time for the forecast may change, but if it does, you can always just do it the next weekend.”
“Ugh!” I exclaimed.
“There’s no need to get upset Charlotte. But it’s not raining now, so you can go and walk Charlie.”
