I am currently not at beach. I want to be though.
So I wondered why is it I want to be at the beach so much? Or for that matter, even the pool will do.
A post on the Huffington Post Why the beach makes you calmer and more creative pointed to why that is.
The book Blue Mind: The Surprising Science That Shows How Being Near, In, On, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected, and Better at What You Do explains why we search out the water and why we need it.
But in the meantime I just have to go through my beach photos in Lightroom.
These were shot in the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
Although this isn't a shot of the ocean, but a beach house. I just like the feel of it. I like the blues in the sky.
