Shakrain festival is an annual celebration of winter in Bangladesh, observed with the flying of kites. Its occurss at the end of Poush, the ninth month of Bangali calender (January 14 or 15) this is known as Poush Sangkranti (End of Poush).
Shakrain festival is one of the oldest annual festivals of Bangladesh. Its famous and a very importat event in Bangladeshi culture. Its the symbol of unity and friendship in Bangladesh.
