Hello Hivers!
How are you all? Maybe some of you here may have heard about what happened to some regions of the Philippines specially our home place, Cebu. It was hit yesterday by the Super Typhoon Odette. Residents were left with ruined houses and properties. Please Help pray for Cebu and for everyone affected by the storm.
Before Odette entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, my whole family was scheduled to fly to Manila, December 15. We have been preparing for this trip and it has finally arrived.

We were hours early for our flight. We don't want to be late. We also wanted to be prepared for some flight delays or cancellation due to the coming typhoon. It was expected to landfall December 16. Our flight was rescheduled to another time slot. From 9:30 pm to 11pm. It was a long wait but we did not bother anyway.
It is our youngest daughter's first flight. She is excited. We are all excited.

We had preordered our meals for this flight too.
It was an hour flight. We left Cebu at 11pm and arrived in Manila 12MN. We were grateful there was just little turbulence. Smooth take off and touchdown too.
My husband has arranged a van for hire to pick us up at the airport and drop us off to Sta. cruz, Laguna. My brother-in-law and mother-in-law was with the van to pick us up. We took another 2 hour ride to Laguna.
Stopped by LugawQueen and ate some hot special porridge.
We arrived at my inlaws home past 2AM. We had a safe travel and we are thankful. It was a tiring trip but worth it.
We are enjoying our stay though the weather is not that good here because of the storm. Though Laguna is not affected of the said storm. Yesterday, we were worried for my father, siblings and their families in Cebu and Negros because the eye of the storm will pass through.these areas. Up until this writing, I haven't heard any news from them.
On my next blog, I will update you with what happened to our house in Cebu when the Super typhoon passed by the Visayas Region.
