Dakshineswar Kali Temple is a Hindu sanctuary situated in Dakshineswar close Kolkata. India.
Arranged on the eastern bank of the Hooghly River, the managing divinity of the sanctuary is Bhavatarini, a part of Kali, signifying, 'She who frees Her fans from the sea of presence i.e. Saṃsāra. The sanctuary was worked in 1855 by Rani Rashmoni, an altruist and an enthusiast of Kali. The sanctuary is well known for its relationship with Ramakrishna, a spiritualist of nineteenth Century Bengal India.!
