9 years and a few Waves

Today is my 9 year Hiveversary! It hardly seems possible that it has been that long. It is also a bittersweet reminder that it has been that long since my dearest love died. I began exploring here to help alleviate the loneliness I was feeling without him.

My favorite part of being here has been the opportunity it has given me to make friends all around the world and see your photos and have glimpses into your lives. Each photo you have shared, food photos, your family, the streets of your city, your garden and the chickens in your backyard have allowed me to learn more about the world than buying a plane ticket and traveling to tourist sites ever could.

It has been a joy to be here and learn and watch my account grow while using the Hive account@ecency mobile app. Huge thanks to everyone who has guided me along the way. I joined with a group of people that I had known on the TSU platform that had gone defunct. We helped each other and quickly made new friends here. And I treasure each and everyone of you.
