The Janesville farmers market, on a beautiful Saturday morning, is the perfect place to go to get the weekend off to a good start.
The market is downtown on both sides of the Rock River and is connected by a lovely pedestrian bridge.
The market opens at 8 am and quickly fills up with shoppers and familys, and it seems that everyone brings along their dog.
All vendors at the market must sell produce that is grown locally and since our growing season has just begun there is very little produce available for sale yet, but each week the tables will fill up with fruit and vegetables.
Right now there are many food trucks and craft booths.
