Hey, Everyone!
I found this picture lying in my old folders and I realized that I've painted it almost three years ago! I usually don't have enough patience to fully render a digital picture but I think at the time I'd just received a Wacom tablet as a birthday present and I had to try it out.
I'm so happy with how it turned out! Check out all the little details! The eyelashes! ❤️ The freckles! ❤️ The fabric of the dress! ❤️
Granted, the skin and the proportions are not very good but, well, everyone has their weaknesses 😅

Sometimes I worry that the way I'm gushing about my own drawings might come out as boastful. I've been taught that it's bad to praise your own creations or celebrate your successes. "If what you've made is really good, let someone else say it, don't do it yourself! People will resent you for that!"
However, I find it really uplifting to point out the beauty I find in my creations. I've spent so many years telling myself that my art isn't all that good and nobody really likes it. Why not be my own biggest fan for a change? I mean, the Me three years ago would have loved someone to tell her that they like the details in her drawing!
Anyway :)

((Rapunzel from "Tangled" is, of course, not my character. Her design belongs to Disney's and whoever created her there. I just redrew her from a picture I found on the Internet. I hope you like it.))
