When you cut back on spending you start paying off bill and your financial picture gets better right? The if jobs are created, more people are paying taxes to pay the bills. Finally with real estate so high priced right now, the local government is collecting more taxes than ever. So how can someone say the economy is failing when steps are being taken to improve it rapidly.
