GREETINGS TO THE WHOLE COMMUNITY OF STEEMIT
Hello It is an immense pleasure for me to present myself to you, through this medium, and in this way, be part of this great Steemit Community. My name is Carmelo Gómez and I hope to share and promote part of what I do as a musician.

I have been a member of various institutions and groups such as: Compañía de Danzas Nacionalistas Cruz Alejandro Quinal as a musician (representing Venezuela in folkloric festivals of international stature in the countries of Italy, Spain and Portugal), Assemble Colores de Oriente, Assemble Cuerdas y Acero , Tricolor Flute Ensemble, Orfeón Pastor Suarez, Estudiantina UGMA Cumaná, Luis Mariano Rivera Theater Lyric Choir, Cumaná Orquesta Típica, Mariachi Sol de México and La Gran Formula Gaitera Association. I have had the great opportunity to present myself in stages of great importance in the country and the world, such as the Teresa Carreño Theater, the Aula Magna of the UCV and the Sferisterio Arena di Macerata (Italy).
In 2016, in the company of great musicians of the Sucre State, he founded a musical project called "Carmelo con Karburo" and launched his first homonymous production, where he appreciated a lot of musical wealth; unpublished songs and versions that have the purpose of projecting an original form and execution of Venezuelan oriental music, which extends to contemporary genres of central Venezuela and other more universal Caribbean like salsa, charanga, bolero and even pop ballad. In November of the same year, Carmelo with Karburo was selected among more than eight hundred professional projects to participate in the Fimven International Music Fair 2016, an event held at the Teresa Carreño Theater in the city of Caracas; taking the highest honor for a group in the great event: "the most applauded Project". Carmelo Gómez has participated and shared the stage with artists such as Gualberto Ibarreto, Hernán Marín, Luis Silva, Hany Kawan, Porfi Baloa and their teenagers, Robert Antonio, Jorge Glem, Emilio Lovera and Iván Pérez Rossi, among others.
