It is an exciting time of year in tennis as Indian Wells is about to begin. Indian Wells is the largest tournament in the US, aside from the US Open. Qualifying matches are finishing today and the main draw round of 128 will start tomorrow. Roger Federer will be the favorite as usual but with 8 of the top ten players in the world in the draw he will have to play his best tennis to win it. Djokovic, Del Portro, Cilic, Thiem, Dimitriov and Alexander Zverev are some of the serious contenders for this title. Of course it's anyone's game and we won't know the winner for sure until he hoists the trophy on the court pictured below at the end of the two weeks.

It promises to be an exciting event with plenty of great matches. If you are a tennis fan and near southern California, you should go check out the action. I know I will be there!
