Espero se encuentren muy bien. Hace pocos días tuve la oportunidad de visitar San Juan, y aunque fue una visita bastante rápida, aproveché para tomar varias fotos de la vía. Tenía muchísimo tiempo sin pasar por allí, pero antes esa era la ruta que solía tomar para visitar a mis abuelos, y cada vez que lo hago me llena de nostalgia y lindos recuerdos. Es increíble cómo un camino puede hacerte revivir tantos momentos del pasado solo con recorrerlo una vez más.
En la vía de San Juan podías encontrar a muchas personas vendiendo diferentes cosas, como hortalizas, pescado y dulces. Mis abuelos siempre hacían su respectiva parada para comprar dulces tradicionales como el piñonate o el dulce de lechosa. También aprovechaban para comprar muchas hortalizas porque decían que esas estaban más frescas, entonces eran mejores.

I hope you are all doing well. A few days ago, I had the opportunity to visit San Juan, and although it was a fairly quick visit, I took the opportunity to take several photos of the road. It had been a long time since I had been there, but that used to be the route I took to visit my grandparents, and every time I do, it fills me with nostalgia and fond memories. It's amazing how a road can make you relive so many moments from the past just by traveling it once again.
On the San Juan highway, you could find many people selling different things, such as vegetables, fish, and sweets. My grandparents always stopped to buy traditional sweets like piñonate or dulce de lechosa. They also took the opportunity to buy lots of vegetables because they said they were fresher and therefore better.
Yo amaba visitar las panaderías, y cada que podía iba a una diferente con ellos para probar los distintos tipos de pan. Además, San Juan era muy popular por un lugar que vendía chicharrones, cachapas y parrillas. Siempre había un montón de carros en frente del local, que era más o menos al aire libre, y mi familia también estaba obsesionada con la comida que vendían ahí. Aún sigue funcionando, por lo que pude notar, pero no lo he visitado desde hace bastante.
Realmente toda la vía de San Juan me parece bastante linda. De la isla siempre hablan de sus hermosas playas, pero este lugar ofrece unas vistas como si estuvieras en un bosque encantado. Hay un montón de árboles gigantes que cubren gran parte del camino y, mientras te adentras al pueblo y ves las casitas tradicionales, es un paseo que se disfruta muchísimo.
I loved visiting bakeries, and whenever I could, I would go to a different one with them to try different types of bread. San Juan was also very popular for a place that sold pork rinds, cachapas, and grilled meats. There were always a lot of cars in front of the place, which was more or less outdoors, and my family was also obsessed with the food they sold there. It's still open, as far as I can tell, but I haven't been there in quite a while.
I think the entire road to San Juan is quite beautiful. People always talk about the island's beautiful beaches, but this place offers views as if you were in an enchanted forest. There are lots of giant trees covering much of the road, and as you enter the village and see the traditional houses, it's a very enjoyable ride.
Aunque en esta oportunidad no vi a tantas personas vendiendo como antes, creo que fue más que todo por la hora, ya que era bastante tarde. Espero tener la oportunidad de visitarlo con más calma.Es un pueblo que tiene hermosos lugares para visitar como las pozas de San Juan y la iglesia de San juan Bautista, sin duda es un pueblo tradicional que vale la pena visitar.

Although this time I didn't see as many people selling as before, I think it was mainly because of the time, as it was quite late. I hope to have the opportunity to visit it again when I have more time. It is a town with beautiful places to visit, such as the San Juan pools and the church of San Juan Bautista. It is undoubtedly a traditional town that is well worth visiting.
