My journey in my teaching career started when I was still in my high school years. Way back when I was 18 years old that was the first time I teach but not in the school but in the church. I was chosen as one of the teacher in the yearly vacation bible school. I've always liked the idea of sharing the stories in the bible. Explaining how miraculous our God is.
At first teaching was made me unfascinating one but through my experiences it somehow convinced me not to cut out in becoming a teacher. And probably my sister and of course my mother was the greatest influence to me. My sister and my mother embodies the ideas of sharing, having a gratitude and being kind to others.
Last 2015, was my first experience teaching in thw field. In our field study subject, we are given an opportunity to observed in the reality situation. I was assigned in Lahug Elementary School.
In 2016-2017, was my Practice Teaching. In the month of June - December, I was assigned in Integrated Laboratory School in Cebu Normal University. It was a very terrible experience for me. Though I had a friendly co-teacher and an approacheable mentor adviser still it is terrible because we had one mentor that was very bitter to life.
This was the time that I had my tearsdrop. It was a very stressful life. Everynight I need to made my lesson plan and made my instructional materials. Then the next day, I need to go to school without sleep but I need to be strong. I need to finished my demonstration in that day to reach and practice my profession.
In the same year 2016-2017, month of January-February, I was assigned in City Central School. After the experience in ILS it seems that every chuckles, chain and bondage was free. Woooaaah !
Last March 2017, finally I already finished my degree as a Bachelor of Elementary Education major in General Education. I was very thankful to God despite of all the stress, trials and mix emotions I felt during my student teaching.
Still in the same year 2017, month of June, I was hired in RegentPacific College School. I signed a contract for the school year 2017-2018.
I am handling 26 students in RegentPacific College. At first it was very hard for me to manage my class and cooping their uniqueness because of my ADHD student. It was very difficult for me since he will used his force to hit his classmates but that status didn't take for long. Despite of that, I also need to watch my 25 students. I am very happy to them because they always make me proud. They were always excelled in every competition that we had.
