Wrapped up, feeling cool and cozy
The drops of rains on the rooftop
A bright house with noise interrupted by the sounds of the rain
A display from the TV with different and just the right shows
Having nowhere to be but hoping the rain stops soon.
This is my feeling in writing whenever it rains and I'm lucky to be home with no big plans to leave the house. I'm one of those who gets stuck somewhere because of the rain and will keep wishing it stops raining so I could go home and I'll also wish it stops raining when I'm at home so others outside could find their way home.
In both sides of my prayer, the weather will be just perfect afterwards and okay for whatever plans one may have to get done. The rainy season is my favourite season, I have a ton of reasons for choosing this season.
The Rainy season has not always been my favourite but overtime I've had too many coincidence to just love the season over the others. Before now, if I was asked which is my favourite season. I'd have said, the dry season and sadly, it was only for one reason which now doesn't even make sense to me lol.
Check out this image below I found to portray a perfect dry (summer) season... The world seem more beautiful and colourful during the dry (summer) season. That is the only thing I seem to love about the season, and the fact that I could be at anywhere without any interruptions unlike it is with the rainy season.
While the dry (summer) season is one of God's own perfect creation, there are a lot more about the rainy season, another God's perfect creation. Sometimes I sit and wonder how Great God is to have thought that we needed all seasons and I feel kinda impartial when I choose a season over the other because each season is important for our ecosystem.
Well, we can't help it can we? My favourite is the Rainy season. And here are like a few from the many reasons I love the season.
The rainy season comes with a cool weather!!!
With a cool weather, there is a lot I love about such weather and as it connects to the season, it makes me love this season more.
First of all, I'm a born child of the Rainy season as my birth month happen to be at a time it rains more, my friends will jokingly call me "Rain child" lol. Most of my birthdays are spend in a cool and calm weather and I never get tired of it because I love that feeling more than heat (I bet everyone does lol)
I've lived with my mother for a long enough time to be influenced by her that the Rainy season is her favourite and so she tends to make a lot more memories during these times and I'm with her in a few of those times. She would tell me beautiful stories as she is in a very good mood, we would lie quietly in a room together some days and then gist until we fall asleep enjoying the cool weather.
The rainbow do come out during dry (summer) seasons too, I guess but it is much clearer and beautiful during the rainy season when it comes out. Even the Bible made me love the rainy season more with this part of the Bible story.
Because of the rainy season, I get to see beautiful designs of umbrella (people who design get to see more). The season keeps family more together and even new families are created (more happy for the ones who are prepared for it lol)
