This will be a short post but it is meaningful to me since it's my first year anniversary here in Steemit. I just got a new Personal Badge in Steemitboard and it's the First Year in Steemit badge. Wow, it's been a year since I made this account. Time flies, indeed.

What is Steemit to me? Well, Steemit is and will always be home to Hive account@mermaidvampire. This username/handle/nom/IGN was first used here in this platform by me. I have made great friends here and I'm so grateful. My great friends here are exceptional. I know they know who they are, no need to mention names.

I am using a large font because this is a shout out to the people I have met here and to tell them how grateful I am of their support always. I have real friends here that are consistent with their support and I know those are the people that believe in me the most. Thank you so much. It does not matter to me if your upvote is 0.001, or if you manually upvote me or let a bot do it, I want you to know that I know who you guys are and I am grateful.

I am grateful of many things Steemit. I will be making posts of what things I am grateful for here. But for now let me just share one of those things. Today, I am honoring a knight in shining armor, or armour because the person I will be mentioning is British. LOL On my first year here in Steemit, let me dub Hive account@cadawg as a knight .LOL Why? Because he has been a loyal Steemit BFF since the days when we were starting and we knew nothing about Steemit. LOL Other than Hive account@meetmysuperego, the person who told me to join Steemit, Hive account@cadawg is my first Steemit friend and he has become this Steemit BFF that always upvotes me even if I don't upvote back. LOL He even helps develop an upcoming Dapp project with me for free even if he is busy with life, along with other awesome Steemians, too. So, how lucky am I to be in Steemit? It's all so worth it to be here, regardless of what the market looks like. I'm here for the people who believes in me. Everyone needs a Hive account@cadawg in their life and I hope you find one here in Steemit, too!
