The Reminder with a Badge... Five Years on Hive Blockchain
I never thought that exactly yesterday had been my 5th year on the Hive Blockchain. Time flies so fast... which also means that I became 5 years older, Lolols! I was granted a badge for this anniversary and if it was not for this reminder, I wouldn't have remembered the day yesterday as my anniversary. Thanks

Well, I am still here alive and kicking while others have left and or stopped blogging. I can still remember how I started on the blockchain. I had been blogging 4 years on Google before Hive came into being at the time when I was still working. My pages were kind of an escape from the stressful corporate life. In another soc med, I came to know another Hiver by the name of 
Hive account@otom, we were then "partners in crime" and became interested in ICOs at that time when these boomed and became ao popular in 2017-2018 ....which most of them eventually turned out to be scams since they simply stopped their platforms after accumulating funds from investors. We were careful in giving out cash as we do not really know whether the coin will make it or not. We thought it wise not to invest anything as what we all wanted was to simply receive airdrops for free, lols!

In crypto, it's a matter of believing in a token and the speculation behind it. An upcoming coin has to be marketed thru an ICO to raise funds in form of crowdfunding. Sadly, it is a widely used mechanism for fraud and scams especially for the unsophisticated investors being lured and exploited by ICO scammers/developers.
At any rate Hive account@otom and I joined the Steemit blockchain, through another friend's invitation (whose name I forgot, sorry), we even built a Facebook community to onboard Filipinos.... eventually after the hostile take-over of Justine Sun, we moved to Hive. Although I lack the time to blog each day, I am trying to stay put on the blockchain by contributing a bit on Hive´s ecosystem. Whenever time allows, I am blogging, curating, reading and commenting on other Hivers´s posts. Am wishing that the Hive blockchain keeps on stronger over the years to come!
A property I acquired was paid through cryptocoins which included ETH, Hive and other crypto tokens earned during my blogging journey. I will share about it in my next post so please stay tuned.
