5- Peaky Blinders
Peaky Blinders' is a British historical drama broadcast from 2013 on BBC Two. The television series focuses on the history of a gangster family, established in Birmingham during England in 1919, just after the First World War. Peaky Blinders' tells the adventures of Tommy Shel, part of a criminal gang and its dangerous and ambitious boss, Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy). This gang will try to be disorganized by the chief inspector Chester Campbell (Sam Neill), an Irish detective sent from Belfast to help clean the city of evildoers and criminals.
4- Sons Of Anarchy
The series tells the story of a motorcycle band called Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original. The band consists of its own rules as well as moral code. To survive, they have no problem in undertaking criminal acts such as drug dealing, theft, violence and illegal arms market, among others.
Little by little their criminal activity will lead them to stop being a simple gang of bikers to become a brotherhood full of secrets and violence. The original headquarters of Sons of Anarchy is in Charming, where the story unfolds, although the band will suffer such an expansion that it will find offices in different parts of the world. The protagonist of the fiction is Jackson 'Jax' Teller, who is the son of one of the founders of the deceased band. Jackson, after the death of his father, is adopted by the other co-founder of Sons of Anarchy and he becomes the vice president.
3- Banshee
The drama follows Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-con thief who to go unnoticed adopts the identity of a sheriff from Banshee, Pennsylvania. There, he will continue to commit crimes and flee from old enemies. He will be accompanied by Carrie Hopewell (Vana Milicevic), his former accomplice who now also lives in the village with a new identity with a family who doesn't know their past.
Ulrich Thomsen plays Proctor, an intimidating businessman who believes he is above the law. Frankie Faison (The Good Wife, The Wire) is Sugar Bates, another former convict who owns one of the town's shops. Rus Blackwell is Gordon Hopewell, a war hero, Carrie's husband; Ryann Shane (Blue Bloods) as Deva Hopewell, Carrie and Gordon's rebellious daughter; and Ben Cross (Star Trek, Ben Hur) as Mr. Rabbit, a ruthless Ukrainian gangster who's been looking for Lucas and Carrie for 15 years.
2- True Detective
True detective' is a police mystery series written and directed by Nic Pizzolatto. It is produced by the HBO network and is an anthology, that is, each season it tells a different story. The police investigations go beyond what is purely marked by the work to delve into the secrets that are involved both outside and inside the law.
The series takes its first steps with actors Matthew McConaughey (Rustin Spencer "Rust") and Woody Harrelson (Martin Eric "Marty") as protagonists that led to this anthological series to be one of the great discoveries of 2014. The plot is currently underway, but focuses on a case that both detectives were investigating in 1995. Marty and Rust will have to deal with the dark shadows of the past that will help them learn from each other. The cast for the second season is led by Vince Vaughn as Frank Semyon, Colin Farrell as Ray Velcoro and Rachel McAdams as Ani Bezzerides.
1- Taboo
Tom Hardy is James Keizah Delaney in 'Taboo', a man who was left for dead after a trip to Africa and disappeared for ten years. However, Delaney returns to London to attend his father's funeral. His stay in the remote jungles of the African continent will bring the protagonist back to a completely changed society to claim his inheritance from his father's transport empire and rebuild his own life.
Although he won't have it easy, since his father's fortune is accompanied by enemies that will endanger his life. For that reason, the protagonist will have to cross the seas to avoid his death sentence, while he discovers the dark mystery that hid his family.
