This building is known as Metropolitan Building, because it was acquired by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. after independence. It is an iconic building situated at the corner of chowringhee crossing (Esplanade). The more history, you can find here. This is my entry for PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography Round 164.
