The day after The Gospel Crusade
The day after an event that you planned and worked on over a period of time and your participation has ended and the follow up work has be entrusted into capable hands. It is a mixed bag of joy, tired, and a time of rest and planning towards the next event.
I got up at my usual early morning routine, fed our puppy a snack and found, oh no, no coffee in the house. Of all of the things I have given up in my life, a good cup of coffee, of freshly ground coffee beans, is the way I prefer to start my morning.
No coffee and only something made from jackfruit to try as a substitute. NOT! Not even close! I am up early and there is no shop in town that you can get anything until 7 or 7:30. Now we are in critical mode!!!! Lol!
At 5 AM I started down the road and went this time down to the water and snapped a couple of photos.
Down by the water I ran into the keyboard player, of a local church, and his wife out for their morning stroll. Chatted with them for a few minutes and headed back home. Still tired and no coffee.
When I got home I took a few photos in our yard.
This one is curious. The sun was shining through this cobweb. I took a photo as I could see what looked like a rainbow of colors in many of the strands. If you look closely, the top strand looks like a man’s face and he is wearing sunglasses. He even has a body with arms and legs.
As I said in the other post about the crusade and the Baranggay that it was held, has no church in the entire community. I just got word today that someone is willing to donate 300 Square meters for us to build a church. Wouldn’t that be incredible?
If anyone knows of people interested in a pioneering church and helping to build a building, please let me know! I will follow up later with a post and photos of the lot.
Coffee! I was able to go to Bos Coffee and pick up some beans. I saw and tried to convince the Barista named Claire to join Steemit.
God bless!
