Today after 2 months of talking amongst family members we got rid of cable and started using a streaming service. The very first thing I noticed was that everyone was freaking out . Not that there was nothing on ,but that there was no scheduling ,they had to decide what they wanted. This I thought wouldn't even have been a issue but how wrong I was. They all looked helplessly at the thousands of choices ,they where literally overwhelmed.Not by choice ...But because it was theirs and they where clueless and freaking out over this thing sprung upon them of choice , decision making , and carrying it out . As I listened in room to room .I heard snippets of this show , music, and more . I heard frustration and mostly silence. The first night around the dinner table . We started talking about the new TV setup. It all boiled down to one thing they all overwhelmingly on the first day miss Tv scheduling , the ease of turning something on and being spoon fed the daily dribble. Of course I pointed out that is a excellent lesson on freedom and how most when confronted with it look , seek and choose a master over being responsible for themselves even if it is just putting on a TV show. This so far was way more eye opening than I ever imagined .I would have never believed that getting rid of cable would prove a valuable lesson of springing freedom , choice onto those that don't want it , prefer the schedule of others over their own choice. I will continue to observe this amazing development and will do a update on the 20th see how they settle into freedom of choice. Thanks , Up vote and stand against every form of tyranny .
