Clean energy research has been suppressed by oil and gas monopolies for years (arguably to maintain centralised economic power and control), but with economical oil reserves dwindling there aren't really any good alternatives emerging yet.
For example, renewables like solar, wind and hydro, cannot power planes, ships and heavy goods vehicles (required for trade and just-in-time food distribution), and the infrastructure relies too heavily on oil to survive without it.
It seemed that coal and wood would be the only high EROI sources left after a debt reset, which would be a huge step backwards.
Anyways, I've been following this company for a while and MSM finally covered it this year, with commercial production coming in 2018 I believe it could disrupt every other energy sector, and provide true decentralised clean energy.
The impact for society and our evolution cannot be understated, this would be the biggest jump since the discovery of oil.
The only catch is it uses silver electrodes, and global silver reserves above ground have been heavily depleted, so supply and demand could get interesting...
