And what are we doing?
Relaxing with the Sunday papers and a cup of coffee? Taking the dogs for a brisk walk in spectacular Sherwood Forest?
Nope, we're getting ready to go to Birmingham to the Classic and Restoration Show at the NEC!
We both enjoyed the show last year and I'm enthusiastic to visit again. We'll see a few friends there, no doubt (usually do) and meet new ones. Making contacts and seeing new innovation is the aim of this visit, plus with the Porsche 911 in the process of being restored, there should be more to seek out in that regard.
Things are progressing in the racing front too. We've been invited to go to a Hill Climb event which we're seriously looking at, if Trev's mum is OK by then. If the 911 is complete and back with us, we may just take that in the Hill Climb because there's a 'run what you brung' section.
Exciting times ahead (as always).
I love my life!
