Today I'll be going to one of the local colleges for an interview with a young woman I've been friends with for a while.
We first met when I did a talk on writing at the library in the next town. Her dad came along and had told her and a friend to try to get there too.
The 'talk' ended up being very low on numbers because of bad weather (I hope) and we all ended up having a chat rather than me giving an informal talk. Rob, Victoria's dad, asked if I'd be willing to give a talk to the local Women's Institute, so that led to a better-attended evening.
Victoria has kept in touch by FB and this will be the second interview I've given to help with her college course.
I'll be taking a couple of my new books for her and I think we may take a look at re-starting the writing group I started and had to put on hold.
I have no idea what questions she'll be asking, so I'd better have my wits about me. When / if the interview is available for public consumption, I'll let you all know.
