I bought a couple of kits from Kanban Crafts
And last night, I had the idea that I wanted to make something special for our granddaughter’s room with the kit.
I have a few large pieces of card I can use for such occasions and I cut one in half length-ways.
I folded it in half again so it’s sturdy enough to stand on its own.
Then I stuck double-sided foam along the top and bottom of the front of the ‘card’.
I chose 5 card designs from the kit.
And stuck recycled cards (remember, I have a box full of cards to re-use and you can use the back as well as the front).
Double-sided tape to stick them together.
I spaced the cards out evenly across the base. It turned out that 5 cards overhang by 4cm (2 inches?) on either side, but that’s ok.
Pretty enough – yes?
Well, the bears are adorable, but there’s more to the kits! MUCH More!
Lots and lots…
And lots of embellishments!
The ‘card’ fits just right on the shelf in Mia’s room.
Or on the picture rail…
Now… if the cards aren’t exactly straight, I have an excuse…
is not good at ‘portion control’.
Happy Crafting!
