On the weekend we went for a hike up Mount Brogden. It was great to get out of the house and get some fresh air. Most of my days of late have been at work and only going home to eat and sleep. I have managed to keep up with my streaming though which is positive for me.
Anyways before I get too far off track. We went for a walk on the weekend on a 5km walking track, which starts at the base of Mount Brogden in the state forest near Cocoparra National Park. Mount Brogden itself is in Cocoparra National Park which has a few walking tracks. This was our first time on this track.
The track starts step with plenty of stairs to help you get up the first section. Once you get past this section the track follows the ridge line around and upto the summit. The second section is up and down slowly taking you upto the summit. There is three lookout points that are good places to take photos.
It is hard to see from my photo here, but at the top of this ridgeline you can see a rocky outcropping. That is the lookout at the top that we walk to. This was taken from the first lookout.
This next photo was taken from the second lookout called “Yenda lookout” . The lookout gives a great view of Yenda , a nearby town, and the surrounding area.
And finally a photo of the view from the top of Mount Brogden.
I have also included some other photos I took along the way.
I hope that you enjoyed my photos.
Have a great day!
